Situated in Bridgewater-on-Loddon, which is located 1/2 an hour north of Bendigo, Chester Cottage is a simple country cottage with two bedrooms and a sleep-out for up to 6 people. The Cottage is located on a 1/4 acre block with room for boat parking.

The Cottage is within walking (and obviously driving) distance of the Loddon River, the local shops, Pondalowie and Water Wheel Wineries and the Loddon Bridge Hotel, which serves a pretty good pub meal.

In the local area are the Passing Clouds, Glenalbyn Grange, Blanche Barkley and Kangderaar wineries.

Within the area is the Mt Kooyora State Park (including Melville Caves), the Terrick Terrick National Park and numerous other State Parks and Reserves.

Also in Bridgewater and nearby Inglewood (7 kms north) are: Supermarket, Hospital, Post Office, Restaurants/Cafes, Shops, Swimming Pool, Tennis Court, Bowling Clubs and Golf Courses.

Facilities at the Cottage include cooking and dining equipment, indoor and outdoor dining settings, lounge furniture and beds. Equipment provided includes gas stove and BBQ, electric refrigerator, kettle, microwave, fans, heaters and iron/ironing board.

You need to bring your own linen including sheets, doona/blankets, towels and tea-towels.
